New Players Mutual Consent For CHINA Playing in Peshawar Zalmi 2018

China is not new to the world of cricket but yes to the international cricket with prominent exposure. Just like our Pakistani cricket team both men & women teams are there in China as well. These teams have also played at international levels but those tournaments have not proved to be marking edge for boost of cricket culture in China. This contract will be soon signed between Chinese cricket board and Peshawar Zalmi head Javed Afridi. PSL headquarter is in Lahore. Because of security issues prevalent during previous few years first edition was not held in Pakistan but in UAE. Peshawar Zalmi is the champion who will be defending their title during 2018 edition. Inaugural edition was titled in the name of Islamabad United.

A proposal has also been made for neutral venue status of China for cricket teams of Pakistan rather than UAE or any other country. Security is the main issue and we have seen the circumstances in the form of refusal by many international players to play here. But the trend has changed with improvement of security conditions. It is expected that few matches apart from finale will also be played in Pakistan considering the love and desire of Pakistani people to watch match live in the stadiums of Pakistan. PSL final during last year was in Lahore. For this reason many international players were unwilling to play because of security concerns. This year it has come to knowledge from multiple sources that few matches will be held in Pakistan for restoring confidence of foreign players and encouraging them to visit Pakistan. As per sources, Management of PSL asked players whether they would be interested in playing in Pakistan. Majority of them said they are willing. Though they are willing but one must not forget the dynamic nature of security in the country. PCB looks forward for successful series to be played against Sri Lanka and West Indies at home. This all has become possible because of successful holding of an independence cup. PSL`s previous editions has helped a lot in restoring and establishing the reputation. We are quite hopeful that this trend will continue in the future.

As per sources of Dawn news, there is a great reward for all foreign players who agree to play in Pakistan. This prize is in the form of $10,000. Each foreign player playing PSL will get this prize form PCB. This is a separate amount that will be paid to each player. Other amounts that those players will get are a separate thing. There would be about 6-8 matches to be played in Pakistan. Even playing one match can earn $10,000 to a player. Multiplying it with the number of matches playing in Pakistan will increase in multiple folds.
